What is coaching, exactly?

Coaching is a supportive space to talk things through, hear yourself more clearly, and move forward with greater clarity and intention. It is a place where you are listened to, reflected back to, and supported as you navigate change or work toward something that matters to you.

Is coaching about giving advice or telling me what to do?

No. Coaching is not advice-giving. I do not tell you what decisions to make, what direction to take, or how to live your life. Coaching is a collaborative process that supports you in thinking things through, clarifying what matters to you, and making your own informed choices.

How is coaching different from therapy?

Coaching is not therapy and does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. Coaching focuses on the present and the future — helping you gain clarity, make decisions, and move forward — while supporting your ability to make your own choices in a way that feels right for you.

How do I know if coaching is right for me?

If you are feeling stuck, navigating change, carrying something heavy, or wanting support as you move toward something important, coaching may be a good fit. You do not need certainty — just a sense that having someone alongside you would help.

Do you work with both personal and business coaching clients?

Yes. Some people come to coaching for personal reasons, and some come with business, leadership, or work-related challenges. Often, the two overlap. No matter the focus, the approach stays the same: thoughtful, non-judgmental support that helps you gain clarity and move forward.

Is coaching more about talking, or taking action?

Both. Some sessions focus more on reflection and understanding. Others focus more on decisions, accountability, and next steps. Often, it is a combination of both.

How does accountability work?

Accountability is shaped around what you want to work toward. We check in on goals, decisions, and commitments in a way that supports follow-through while still feeling respectful and realistic.

What kinds of things do people work on in coaching?

People bring many different things to coaching, including life transitions, relationships, grief, caregiving, confidence, decision-making, personal goals, leadership challenges, and business-related decisions.

What if what I’m dealing with feels emotional or heavy?

That is okay. Coaching offers a respectful, non-judgmental space to talk about what feels difficult, while also creating room for clarity, support, and forward movement.

What does a typical coaching session look like?

Sessions are conversational, focused, and shaped around what feels most important that day. You are listened to, reflected back to, and supported as you explore what is going on and identify next steps that feel right for you.

How often do we meet, and for how long?

Sessions are typically around 45–60 minutes and scheduled regularly. Frequency can be discussed based on your needs and what you are working on.

How long do people usually work with you?

Some people work short-term around a specific issue or goal. Others continue longer for ongoing support. We decide together what makes the most sense for you.

Is coaching confidential?

Yes. Coaching sessions are confidential and held in a private, respectful space.

How do I get started?

You can reach out with questions or book a discovery call to explore whether this coaching feels like the right fit. There is no pressure to commit — the first step is simply a conversation.
