What coaching offers
Coaching is a collaborative, future-oriented process that can support reflection, self-awareness, choices, goals and action. You remain responsible for your decisions, wellbeing and actions.
What coaching is not
Coaching is not psychotherapy, counselling, diagnosis, medical care, crisis support, legal advice, financial advice or a substitute for regulated professional services. Sharleen Young does not diagnose or treat mental-health conditions through coaching.
Urgent and clinical support
If you are experiencing an emergency, are at risk of harm, or need clinical assessment or treatment, contact local emergency or crisis services or a qualified health professional. Coaching should not delay appropriate care.
Confidentiality
Coaching conversations are handled privately within the professional, contractual and legal limits discussed before coaching begins. Digital communication and third-party platforms carry inherent privacy risks, so urgent, clinical or highly sensitive information should not be submitted through an open website form.
Results and responsibility
No particular outcome can be guaranteed. Results depend on many factors, including circumstances, participation, decisions and actions. Information on this website is general and may not fit every situation.
Referrals and other support
If a concern appears to fall outside the scope of coaching, Sharleen may suggest that you seek another qualified professional. Coaching may sometimes complement other support, but it does not replace it.
